沿革
明治12(1879)年 初代阪口定吉が鉄問屋として阪口定吉商店を創立。
明治39(1906)年 元ロシア戦艦「オーストリヤ号」を解体、以後船舶解体事業を兼営。
大正6(1917)年 シャーリングマシンを導入し加工業務を開始。
大正8(1919)年 株式会社阪口定吉商店に組織変更。資本金100万円。
昭和19(1944)年 関西製鉄(株)を買収、臨港製鉄(株)を協力会社とし、一貫圧延体制を整備。
阪口金属工業株式会社(現・関西製鋼株式会社)を設立。当社は阪口興産株式会社に社名変更。
昭和38(1963)年 堺事業所開設、鉄鋼の保管・加工・船舶解体業務を行う。
昭和45(1970)年 堺事業所に熔断工場を新設、各種規格鋼板の精密熔断加工を開始。
昭和54(1979)年 本店を堺市より現在地に移転。
昭和56(1981)年 鶴町工場を開設。
平成4(1992)年 事業組織を商品・熔断・鶴町・プロジェクトの4部門体制に再編。
平成5(1993)年 鶴町工場をリニューアル。
平成6(1994)年 石川工業株式会社を買収、建設部品加工販売に進出。
(株)ダイヤステックを設立、建設土木施工業に進出。
平成8(1996)年 事業強化を図るため、開発部門を加え5部門体制に再編。
平成11(1999)年 中華人民共和国・大連市に現地事務所開設。
平成15(2003)年 事業組織を営業第一本部、第二本部に再編。
平成17(2005)年 本社工場をリニューアル。
平成18(2006)年 営業第一本部と第二本部を統合し、営業本部に再編。
チーム名を廃止し、3ユニットに変更。
History
1879: Sadakichi Sakaguchi established the Sakaguchi Sadakichi Shoten(a private concern)as an iron wholesaler.
1906: Dismantled the former Russian battleship "AUSTRIA"; since then ship - desmantling has been among our main business activities.
1917: Introduced shearing machines and started processing operarions.
1919: Reorganized as Sakaguchi Sadakichi Shoten Co.,Ltd. (a body corporate) Capitalized at one million yen.
1943: Acquired Kansai Steel Co.,Ltd and made Rinko Steel Co.,Ltd be a subsidiary company.
Establishied Sakaguchi Metal Industries Co.,Ltd (now Kansai Steel Corporation).
The company renamed Sakaguchi Kosan (Sakaguchi Trading Co.,Ltd).
1963: Opened the Sakai plant for storage and processing of steel products, and ship - dismantling.
1970: Built new gas-cutting plants, and started precise cutting of standardized steel plates.
1979: Moved head-office from Sakai City to Osaka(present location).
1981: Built the Tsurumachi Plant.
1992: Reorganized into four dividions: Gas-Cuttiong, Domestic Trade, Steel Plates Projects and Boring and Saw-Cutting.
1993: Renewed the Tsurumachi Plant.
1994: Acquired Ishikawa Kogyo Co.,Led. and established Dia Steel Technology and Engineering Co.,Ltd.(Dia Stec Co.,Ltd).
1996: Set up Business Crearing Division to extend business.
1999: Opened the local office in Dalian, the People's Republic of China.
2003: Reorganized into the headquarters of the first sales division and the headquarters of the second sales division.
